August 4th 2003 - Israeli activists removed from camp!

Hi everyone,

As many already know-on saturday night Mas'ha camp moved to a location near the house in Mas'ha that is going to be annexed to ISrael if the fence continues to be built as planned. Yesterday many internationals as well as some Israelis arrived at the camp, but only two Israelis spent the night there-Itai and Omer. The camp - Palestinians, Israelis, and Internationals, arrived at an agreement with the workers that no construction would be done next to the house for two months, and that the camp wouldn't be in the direct path of current building. AS OF ABOUT 15 MINUTES AGO-11AM-SHABAQ AND THE ARMY CAME AND TOOK THE TWO ISRAELIS-ITAI AND OMER-AWAY. We don't yet know where they are. There are people addressing this now.

THE CAMP, (this request comes from both the Palestinians and the Israelis who are dealing with this), URGENTLY REQUESTS THAT AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE, ESPECIALLY ISRAELIS, COME TO THE CAMP AS SOON AS THEY CAN-TODAY IF POSSIBLE. There are already about 20-30 internationals and Palestinians there, and both Palestinians and Israelis there are asking in particular for Israelis to please come and make a presence there.

The new location of the camp is near the machsom-to get there go as you usually do and as the machsom you will see the Palestinian flag marking the site-next to the road between the machsomim.
