Help Palestinian Farmers bring their harvest home!

Zaytoun is looking for 2005 olive harvest team members. We co-ordinate teams in the West Bank, in collaboration with farmers’ organizations and the International Womens Peace Service. 

International presence;

• Deters settler harassment and violence to the Palestinians
• Helps negotiation with soldiers in “closed military zones”
• Gives the farmers and their families invaluable support and solidarity at a crucial time of the year

The olive harvest is one of the key events in the life of Palestinian villagers. Farming families now depend almost completely on the fruit of their land for survival. Harvest team members share the problems of daily life, as well as the legendary hospitality of the Palestinians and the beauty of the West Bank. It is a life-affirming experience.
